Nebraska Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody or release, provide or remove an official booking photo, post bond, or retrieve a government record. Contact the agency that keeps the record for a current answer or a formal copy.

Nebraska bookings are handled by local agencies, and regional jail contracts can place a person in a county other than the one where the arrest occurred. Start with the arresting county, then use its official page to locate the records contact. State-prison records have a separate NDCS route.
- For a county arrest or jail booking, select the county in the County Directory and use that county site's roster or records contact.
- For a booking record or photo, use the statewide request steps and custodian notes on the Nebraska records home page.
- For state-prison custody or an NDCS profile, search the NDCS Incarceration Record Search.
- For a filed case or court outcome, use Nebraska Judicial Branch case-information eServices.
- For federal prison custody, use the BOP locator; it does not provide a public booking-photo feed. ICE custody uses the ICE detainee locator.
- For historic prison or Omaha Police Court images, contact History Nebraska Research and Reference Services about its collections and access rules.
NDCS requests can be emailed to DCS.PublicRecords@nebraska.gov or mailed to the Public Disclosure Unit, Nebraska Department of Correctional Services, P.O. Box 94661, Lincoln, NE 68509. The agency says it responds within four business days. A complex or fee-bearing request receives an explanation and estimated completion details; no universal county records-office schedule is established statewide.
